Protective clothing applications

Nanofiber membranes have been recognized as potential candidates for protective clothing applications, because of their light weight, large surface area, high porosity (breathable nature), great filtration efficiency, resistant to penetration of harmful chemical agents in aerosol form and their ability to neutralize the chemical agents without impedance of the air and wat er vapour permeability to the clothing.
